Ever since I was young, I’ve been drawn to imagining and constructing my own jewelry. Even before I could get my own jewelry making supplies, I would make small trinkets out of trash and household items.
When I discovered polymer clay, I couldn’t stop myself from shaping and molding it, just to feel a new shape coming together in my hands. Now, all of my jewelry is made of polymer clay, with different colors being thoughtfully considered, then mixed together until I feel satisfied with their combination.
I portray both simple and complex arrangements of geometric shapes in my pieces, using colors that reflect the natural world.
Jewelry is an expression of the wearers identity, and I am honored when a piece that I’ve created is incorporated into that expression.
